OK, lets FIGHT!
What did you guys think of WEC last night???
I like James Toney coming in the UFC. He’s a fighter after all, an old one yes but he is a fighter, not a baseball player. What do you Zealots think???
Why is Fedor holding out??? He’s done this before. Are these apparent weak challenges like Werdum a lose/lose situation for Fedor.
Can STRIKEFORCE survive without Fedor???
There are some of my topics, through yours up if you want…. LETS FIGHT!

WEC
- Scott Jorgensen is ready.
- Expected the Taurevicius/Davis fight to go the way it did.
- Win or lose, Jens Pulver is my hero.
- If people don’t know who Joseph Benevidez is, they do now.
- Brian Bowles should’ve kept fighting. Urijah Faber did.
James Toney
- Get him a ground game and he’s ready for a title shot. Age is nothing but a number and if James Toney clips you, you’re done. He’s traning with the wrong guy though, Juanito Ibarra.
Fedor
- Scott Coker > Dana White [according to Dana White]
- Strikeforce can survive without Fedor. 2 words: Gina Carano.
My Topics
- Who’s in line to fight Dominick Cruz? Benevidez or Jorgensen?
- Should Jens Pulver stop?

About the Brian Bowles continuing to fight, smart move. I saw a picture of his hand and it doesn’t look good. Good call by the doctor.

I thought Miguel was just to tentative, he went to far the other way. AND Joe is like Jardine or Faber or someone else hard to mimic. How do you train for someone like that. Cruz just looked nuts, so wild such amazing movement.

Jens is done, in my opinion. Great dude, but he hasn’t won in awhile and it can’t be good for him, mentally. He may have one fight left in him but I seriously doubt it.
Gina Carano can carry some SF weight for advertising and getting attention but I really don’t think she can beat Cyborg so the Carano good looks will only take them so far, especially if she can’t win the belt back.
Joseph Benevidez will probably fight Cruz, again, and Cruz will probably win. Jorgenson is probably the next in line after that and I think he as a real good shot at taking the belt. I could see this belt becoming like the UFC’s LHW belt.
James Toney should be interesting, if nothing else. However, I don’t really see him being very successful, for an extended period, but he should have some interesting fights though. I just don’t want the whole boxing vs mma discussing coming up after he fights- “Any boxer would dominate an mma fighter” it’s a ridiculous argument- or the “Boxing is dead and MMA fighters will destroy any boxer”- Just not looking forward to that crap.

Jorgenson is a better wrestler than both Cruz and Benavidez so he has the ability to win against either one of those guys, unless he try’s to strike too much with Cruz or gets careless and caught in a submission by Benavidez.
James Toney is never gonna be some sort of title contender in MMA no matter how much of a ground game he manages to pick up in his tenor as a mixed martial artist. Also, even though he’s a better pure boxer than anybody in the UFC, he will get completely chopped down (literally) by any kick boxer who has a decent amount of skill.
